August League Captain of the Month: Ron Skaggs

Although his first tennis experiences in college were casual with comrades, his hobby eventually evolved into a lifelong activity for Ron Skaggs of Joplin, Missouri. Skaggs is dedicated to maintaining his team’s playing schedule in order to keep his team together every season on a regular basis. He executes this goal by playing in an underground cave in Missouri. Skaggs also enjoys playing racquet ball which he says doesn’t adversely effect his tennis playing ability. Read More

Any members of the Boonville Community Tennis Association can receive a 15% discount on all tennis gear (racquets, balls, tennis apparel) at the Columbia Mall sports store, MC Sports. This includes all members of the Jr. Team Tennis program. This 15% discount applies to sale and non-sale items. Upon check out, tell the cashier that you have a team account under the name of Boonville Community Tennis Association. Also tell them you would like your purchase applied to their 'Active Rewards' program. For every dollar spent we receive 1 point.
